The BOLT RPG Engine

The BOLT RPG Engine is a flexible, action-centric "toolbox" RPG built on fast gameplay and escalating tension. The core d10+d4 resolution system returns fast and chaotic action, and the Tenacity mechanic encourages reckless play ideal for breathless gunfights and down-to-the-wire heists.

Every roll is interesting. Every encounter resolves quickly. Every failure is a dare to push your luck.

BOLT has now been UPDATED with the BOLT Core System document, which features streamlined mechanics, tidier writing, and a “retro-inspired” two-column format!
