OK if anyone else is having issues printing these I figured it out.

When Printing from Adobe Reader or Acrobat Pro do the following.
Front of the Cards
1. Select odd pages only
2. Select multiple pages per sheet
3. I did 3x2
Back of the Cards
1. Select even pages only
2. Select multiple pages per sheet
3 Select horizontal reversed

You may want to start with some tests. I printed odd pages 1-12 (giving you 3 pages) and used these to see how I had to load it in my printer so that it printed properly. Also dont forget to reorder the pages so that the first page that is printed on is the first page in the card set. You could try to print the odds with the reverse pages setting checked but I just reordered mine quick. Good Luck!

I am also looking for an easy to print variant of these as well. I just don't know how I will print them like this.

Any chance you could provide a ready to print PDF formatting these cards (and the bestiary deck) to have them 6 up or 9 up (shrunk a bit) on a 8.5x11 sheet and ready for duplex printing with crop marks? I'm really disappointed these card PDFs aren't in a format to easily print and cut up cards from. Each card is its own page and duplex printing would waste a lot of paper. Even better offer POD cards on DriveThruCards. The game looks great though and I'm looking forward to playing it.

I'm a graphic artist and I started a template in Indesign using the existing PDF to lay the cards (out slightly reduced in size) 9up on 8.5 x 11 with crop marks and bleed for easy duplex printing and cutting out. I can send it to you Gallant Knight Games guys if you are interested.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
