INTERGALACTIC LUCHA LIBRE LEAGUE
The Super Powered Wrestling Adventure/Simulator!

Intergalactic Lucha Libre League is a game about creating shared stories and universe with your friends. It's not about how many dice you roll for that Slam, but when, why and how your character lifted up his rival. It's the classic good and evil struggle told inside of a ring.
In Intergalactic Lucha Libre League, there are two ways of making said struggle happen.

One player will play the role of the "Intergalactic Booker", set up matches and non-wrestling segments, create feuds, set up schemes and build the stage for the Playing Characters to shine. Those characters can be generated randomly or created by the players themselves, picking one of the four Space Races and Wrestling Classes and further customize their characters by selecting traits and Movesets that set them apart from the competition as well developing their unique signature and finisher moves.

The "Showtime" section of the book is all about gimmick matches, creating your own federation, your own belts, or using pre-existing federations sprinkled into the Solar System.

However, the action is not limited to the ring! In their quest for fame, Sports Adventures may happen between shows - Or as the main attraction! While the wrestlers cannot feed off the live crowd, they can still feel their Shinning Guts tensing up as their social media feed fills up of encouraging messages as they body slam Space Dragons into volcanoes.

There is even a way of simulating matches between non-playable characters (meaning an Intergalactic Booker can keep tabs on the career of the Playing Characters rivals and friends) as well a "Soft Intergalactic Booker" mode that allows players to take turns setting up matches and playing minor characters, crafting a shared universe one powerbomb at a time.

The System

The mechanics of the game use a skeleton of the Open Game License, close to the old d20 System.
However, many things were simplified, altered or flat out cut to make the experience as simple and as fast as possible.

The main meat of the game, the mechanic that justifies the existence of Intergalactic Lucha Libre League is the HYPE Factor system. In which every action in a match generates HYPE from the crowd, feeding the wrestler to power through pain, hit harder or even finish the match with their Finisher maneuver.

Interviews, promo segments, sneak attacks and even begging to the Booker to change their upcoming match are all done in simple skill rolls, made that way to keep the action moving. A full show with four players shouldn't take much more than 3 hours, or a regular gaming evening to run through. Of course, all those actions tie together with the HYPE factor.

Creating a character is as simple as picking one of the four Space Races, one of the four Classes, picking some of the movesets (which are restricted by classes), picking one character trait and defining the names and which body parts get damaged by your signature move and finisher.

Leveling up is all about career milestones. If your wrestler saved a town from Anti-Violence Bikers who protest against wrestling, he might go up a level. If he manages to defend his title against three different opponents, he might go up a level as well. Only those who have a storied career get stronger!

Game Features

- Two different ways of playing that can overlap: The traditional "Sports Adventure" and the wrestling show simulator "Showtime"
- Random character generation - Or pick and choose between space races, wrestling classes and bone crunching movesets
- In-ring combat that is all about being creative with your offense and using the HYPE from the crowd for special maneuvers and momentum shifts.
- Feuds are not only encouraged, they are allowed... By the Fame point system. Feud your way to stardom.
- Cheat in character, just be careful not to be caught by the referee!
- Use illegal foreign weapons - Heck, use your own enemy as a weapon to clobber another enemy.

Not yet.
But due to a number of tables this game has, I do agree it needs one. I'll try to make one this weekend, please look forward to.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
