I am currently writing an extensive 5e-compatible campaign setting.
Update - September 21, 2019:
I'm also studying the manga art style. Later, I am going to create a graphic novel series based on my campaign setting. The setting itself will likewise feature manga-style illustrations.
Print copies of any of my works will always include a free digital copy. And I will try to include bonus campaign setting material within each volume of my graphic novel series.
I have decided against adding a line of adventure modules to my publications. The graphic novel series, I hope, will instead act as a backdrop for your own adventures.
Chapter 1 of the campaign setting will introduce you to homelands. Selecting a homeland for your character will gain you access to races, languages, deities, classes, feats, spells, and equipment, all specific to that part of the world. Characters
can access options from other homelands by adventuring in those places. Homelands can range in size from several neighboring kindoms all sharing similar cultures and technology to an isolated mountain village with its own unique way of life.
Chapter 2 will present gamemasters with colorful maps of the world and its nations, provinces, settlements, landmarks, roads, and waterways. There will also be maps of the interiors of important buildings and dungeons. Hundreds of
regional entries will outline the history and civilizations of the world, current rulers, allies and enemies, military forces, religious orders, royal and noble families, guilds, organizations, criminal syndicates, shops and other businesses, etc.
In Chapter 3 the planar regions of a vast multidimensional cosmology will be laid out for you in color as well. A sample adventure will take place in Chapter 4. New monsters will appear in Chapter 5. And Chapter 6 will reveal new magical items!
