"You, Fated one, are a beautiful lie, and so too is the world around you"

In A Far Off Land Modern Meets Mythic Fantasy in Two Worlds and the intrigues of the Eldritch Courts and Fated Factions play out.

Take the role of one of the Fated; shapeshifting beings which are creatures of both worlds. The Fated are akin to the demigods of legend.

The Goblin Market

The intrigues of the many Eldritch Courts & Fated Factions are at the heart of the game. Each of these organizations has their own vision for the world, often forgetting the Fated exist for a purpose and instead using the Fated to fulfill their own agendas. What is the true purpose of the Fated? To safeguard existence itself!

The game includes a variety of locations, creatures, organizations, magical items, and adventure hooks to use in your games.

  • A number of locations to explore including: The Underworld and Wastes of Duat, Wonderland, The Goblin Market, The Mirrored Cities, and more!
  • Locations for the PCs to interact with or even join: The Munin, The Hatters, The Kemet, The Destroyers, and more!

It also includes unique setting specific rules including:

  • An improvisational four-elements based magic system which requires the character to draw upon the power of their passions, or even their blood.
  • Two-World Stunts, which represent each Fated character's dualistic nature.

Note: A Far Off Land uses Fate Core and requires access to Fate Core rules.

FYI, there is no "Contact Publisher" button anywhere on the page, nor have I have seen one in more than 5 years of using the website (it _would_ be a great feature if they did, especially for those publishers who don't read the Discussions). Mobile doesn't show one either. However, if you follow the link to the publisher's homepage, they do have a Contact form linked in the upper right hand corner: http://leaves-of-chiaroscuro.com/contact-us/

PUBLISHER
It is rather hidden (a nice big colorful button would be a nice addition for sure): to the right side there's a sidebar that says "Product information". Scroll down all the way to the bottom of that. You'll see some other stuff, like pages, and format as well. At almost the very very bottom under all those goodies is "contact publisher". Below that is "Publisher Homepage" and "Other Products".

BTW thank you for pointing this out, I realized it was a bit hidden, but, not just how well!

PURCHASER
Sorry to bother, but the only thing I find is the link to the Leaves of Chiaroscuro contact form and I can't see any option to add a screenshot of the pre-order from my library to that form.

I've never seen "Contact Publisher" via either Chrome or Safari or the mobile site, not since I first started using OBS sites back in early 2013, not over thousands of product pages. I can't share a screenshot, but below the product specific sidebar is the publisher sidebar as follows (hyperlinks, not buttons):

I begin to wonder if you are seeing a publisher version, or if it is perhaps a version only viewable on a Microsoft PC browser? Very odd...

PUBLISHER
Seems unfortunately likely either or both of those issues could be the case.
I updated the publisher homepage and that contact page at least temporarily as a work around.
If you encounter any further difficulties, you are welcome to post here or contact me through that, I try to check on things regularly.
I would just post the email address here, but, I don't think it is allowed.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
