DUDE.. I just ran across your maps (VERY impressive work, by the way!), and I was trying to sort your plethora of bundles.. because frankly, they're a mess. You NEED a table (preferably on your description pages), showing which of your maps are in which bundles, so that I'm not buying the same freaking maps 3 times, over and over. Honestly.. I have no idea which Chinese, Yakuza, City maps are where. ALSO, if any of these maps snap in to play modules, it's common courtesy to link to those modules, so we know which ones we could drop in easily. :)

So.. I was trying to sort that, when I read that you measured this map in centimeters.. THAT is a show stopper. NOBODY measures battlemaps in centimeters. Bottom line, I've accidentally bought maps that didn't line up on a VTT grid before. NEVER again. If your maps won't line up precisely in modern VTT software, precisely on the grid (also does NOT need the grid on the map), then I don't want them. I can't describe to you the pain of trying to line up a wonky...See more

Amazingly (coincidentally), I just read on here: https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/331618/The-Grid
That their system offers an overlay where the cyberworld is on top of the real world, and the players NOT jacking in can follow along in real time (even if they can't interact). So in effect, everybody could be storming the same area at the same time.

INTERESTINGLY.. most modern VTT software (the good ones) can TOTALLY overlay an extra map, and make it semi-transparent. SO... if YOU were the only ones providing cybermaps for your battlemaps, that overlayy directly on top of each other..

WHY,, you'd single handedly solve the problem that most groups have with running 'jackers' in their cyberpunk game. :D :D :D

PURCHASER
i would also love to purchase a pack of your maps ready for VTT / Roll20--I've moved enough games there and am enjoying it enough to invest in making it better.

This looks very nice - all of your maps do! Do you offer image files for VTT play such as Roll20?

PUBLISHER
Hi Joseph, I am open to offer the map in other formats. Can you specify what type of file you need for Roll20? Is it a high quality PNG?

I was looking to purchase this ideally for Roll20 use as well. I can tell you that Roll20 standard is 72dpi PNG, and their built in grid overlay is 70 px square.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
