The War has ended, The World has begun

 

Humanity has Fallen

Human civilization has fallen into dispersed Magnon tribes and the Kingdoms of Animalkind have raised to sentience and are taking command of the ruins left on the world

 From the Rubble comes the Rise

The Animal Kingdoms are rising up to conquer what remains of the Earth. Sending out adventuring parties to claim land, explore uncharted territory and claim ancient Magnon Tech.

 

Stories are also told of covert groups of infiltrators sent to spy, destabilise and topple rival kingdoms.

The Pack

As the flames of conflict settled, adventurous Beasts banded together into Packs to roam the land looking for work.

These Packs formed a bond of companionship stronger than the demands of their separate Kingdoms.

This game shows promise but it’s a little expensive and underdeveloped as is. The free version is pretty cool although I am not sure how much growth is possible in this system. Other than the 5 abilities, based on your race, there is no way to customise your character. No special abilities, no character types. Also the character progression Is way too fast. 3 boxes filled out per successful test so if you start with d4 in something, after 17 successful tests you can upgrade that to 1d12, rolling twice to take the better result. That’s completely ludicrous. Surely a better way would be to hand out 1-5 xp per session, typically 3, and then players choose what to increase. <br /><br />
Also, each character can only take 3 hits and they are dead. That’s 3 blows from a standard weapon, although if you have a Shield you can ignore standard attacks. Have these rules been play tested? This seems like it would lead to a very short game- if you have a shield, you will max out most abilities over...See more

Apologies for those formatting issues. And I didn’t mean to sound quite so negative. The game has a lot going for it, and I guess it is only in Beta form. Good luck and looking forward to what this becomes.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
