Would it be possible to get a Superpower sheet to keep track of powers on? Preferably form fillable pdf :)

This is a great idea! A bit beyond my current pdf skills, but I do have a friend who may be able to assist. If so, I'm sure I'll simply add it in as another file with the product.

Thanks for the quick response! I look forward to seeing what you and your friend come up with. I plan on running a gritty and pulpy 80s games set in NYC in the Wild Cards universe.

Can you make Justice League or Avenger level heroes?

Absolutely! I did a handful of them as part of the playtesting.

Found typo Page 34 alter form metal says stone in description.

Will you be adding bookmarks?

Thanks. will correct it in a revision. If you wish to tell me of any others you may find that proofreaders missed, feel free to email me ( Thanks. I'll check on the bookmarks thing. I may not have the right tool for that. Honestly, I've always used Ctrl+F, so never really saw much use for them.

Bookmarks thing wasn't too hard. I'll add these in the revision as well. Just tested them out.

Yeah ctrl f is ok but bookmarks makes navigating pdfs with headings and specific section so much easier. Glad you found out how to do it. What are you using? Affinity?

Word actually, always. I'll have the bookmarked version out tonight. ;)

Oh really that's great, was curious what you use as you put out great stuff. I got the email today saying this was new and you did it so it was a note brainer purchase and I've been waiting for something superhero related to come out.

if you don't have affinity and was ever considering it, its 50% off and 90 day trial.
I can't speak for which option is better but affinity is pretty cheap.

Just started reading looking good so far, my first comment is you have highly trained (ie Batman) and the average human (ie Batman) archetypes, is that just so you can customize it differently?

One other thing, what would you consider something like Venom be, I assume alien? I'll continue reading and maybe it will be answered as I read.

Average Human is there more as a default if the other archetypes don't apply. It's always the default Genesys archetype for the most part (but yes, you could customize it differently). Venom could fit under either Alien or Lab Accident really, depends on how the player and GM wanted to flavor it.

Lab accident was another thought, at least for the character concept i have.

Note, it may take some time for the preview file to be available, but I'll keep checking on it. (Quick preview is currently available). Seems to be a tech issue on DTRPG's side, so messaged them. ;)

How is the super power format presented? Are they premade trees with set talents?
Customer avatar
Chris M March 01, 2021 11:02 pm UTC
No, they are similar to Talents, but instead of Tiers, use Levels instead. The page explaining it should be the last page of the quick preview, and is included on the custom preview. Thanks for asking!

Rule System(s)
Original electronic
Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
