Original art for a new beta-tier threat, a full one-act mission, and the Barcelona Sector of the GodNet mapped out. The descriptions, diagrams, and layouts for all the constructs and cells of the Barcelona Sector can be fully utilized to provide a framework for any other sector of the GodNet. All the GM needs to do is use the pre-drawn construct layouts in any design desired, and a new sector of the GodNet can come alive for the players. Check out the introduction below and get ready to hack back at the Cyberpope.

A new kind of demon. Thermopylae LLC, lead by Jack Preston, is picking up the missions the Delphi Council doesn’t have the bandwidth to handle for a fee. A somewhat prominent scientist working out of Barcelona has become possessed by a demon and is in hiding inside the GodNet. Jack needs a team to enter the GodNet, the backyard of Cyberpope Jean Malraux I, and rescue the good doctor, or the Barcelona resistance will be compromised.

Digital Demons: Prelude is a TORG Eternity one-act adventure for Beta Tier characters set in the cosm of the Cyberpapacy. This adventure presents variant rules for hacking into and in the GodNet and one new creature, the Intrus Demon. Beta-Tier Storm Knights should expect to face more dangerous threats, but in the GodNet, the Church Police are everywhere. Whether you’re in the Flesh, a hard hologram, or a crackerjack decker, the Babel Monitors could be anyone, anywhere. Are you ready? Enter the mission briefing with Jack Preston and find out.

Looks fine. A minor doubt, though... why is the cover missing in the downloadable PDF?

Thanks for the purchase and note. Somehow, for a second time, the cover didn't make it into the final PDF. That has been fixed, and thanks for pointing it out.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
