Shadowrun: Double Clutch (Core Rigger Rulebook)

Jump In

In the Sixth World, you can go from home to work to stores and back home again without touching a steering wheel or pushing a pedal, letting your vehicle and the networks it is hooked into do all your driving for you.

But why would you want to do that?

The accelerating jump of a vehicle when the clutch engages at just the right point, the smell of burning rubber, the sound of a thrumming engine that you can feel in the back of your sternum—those are the sort of things riggers live for—the sort of things they get when jump in to the right vehicle, tuned exactly the way they want it.

Double Clutch gives riggers a host of new options, including all sorts of vehicles and drones, as well as rules for customizing vehicles, making their own vehicles, and customizing their character to be the best rigger around. Everything they want is here.

Double Clutch is the core rigging rulebook for Shadowrun, Sixth World

Free League Publishing...? Big enough to have resources to put behind it. But not *too* big. Great their properties with respect...

LOL Tradition says that when they come up with the Rigger book the Edition is almost done. They even came out with a press release about the 5th edition rigger book saying they promised they were not done with 5th edition. They did keep their word. However, it is usually one of the last books they come up with. So hopefully the ride on this Pain Train (hehehe) is almost over.

I'm not sure what company I'd want to work on Shadowrun. I would have said FFG three years ago but FFG has been gutted and all its rpg assets were moved to Europe. The only North America publishers we have are WotC, Paizo, Green Ronin, Monte Cook Games and Renegade Games plus a whole lot of indy publishers besides Catalyst Games. Most of them I would never want to ever work on Shadowrun. They'd put in all their political crap and ruin the game. So maybe Catalyst Games is our best bet for now... which is really sad.

Not a North American company, but think Cubicle 7 would do a fine job publishing Shadowrun Too bad it'll never happen.

Yes Cubicle 7 would do a good job. Catalyst Game Labs came out with 5th edition. So we know its possible. Unfortunately, I think if you are not D&D you are fighting for scraps. I think even Pathfinder is feeling the pinch and for a short time they were Bigger than D&D.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
