Terror in Port Dakala

About: This module is set in the fantasy world of Drakuva, specifically Port Dakala, a law heavy settlement on a massive lake. This module contains 4 Adventures connected by setting:

Buried Fate will have the party searching for a stolen relic of a powerful noble family. The relic is more dangerous than in was believed to be and the nefarious organization that stole said relic is planning on using it to bring a terrible evil back to Drakuva.

Lingering Venom
will task the players with solving not only a string of brazen robberies in the city but now must help the city guard with a series of murders happening around the robberies.
Player investigators will quickly stumble into one being's quest for vengeance from the grave while others vie for power and notoriety. The players will ultimately decide the fate of many.

The Curse of Crone Island will task players with traveling to a nearby island where over 12 citizens of Port Dakala have reportedly gone missing. The island was once the site of a religious settlement that mysteriously disappeared decades ago. One day merchants looking to trade supplies found the island abandoned and since then sailors and most citizens in Port Dakala have avoided sailing near it.

The fourth and final adventure in this module is titled Beware of the Music in the Mist and it sends players south of Port Dakala to a harsh and unforgiving land, the Feldana Moors. This landscape was molded, blighted and empowered by a legendary witch who waged war against Port Dakala for centuries. Travellers have reported having companions wandering off into the misty bogs in search of some sweet song or the sound of a weeping woman, never to be seen again.

Message from the Publishers:

Hello Bone Ponies!  Welcome to the land of Drakuva, A world of high fantasy, powerful magic, mighty heroes and dreadful villains. Drakuva is the setting location for most of Tabletop Totality’s published adventures. Drakuva itself has a long and cataclysmic history but perhaps the most important event in recorded history is the Ruination of the Dwarves.

For this adventure module, Port Dakala is the setting location for all four adventures contained within and the common factor between these missions. This means that while each mission might have some overlapping information or Characters, each adventure can be played on its own or the entire module can be easily modified into a full campaign. Our goal at Tabletop Totality is to provide enough of a story and lore that each adventure can stand on its own and also remain flexible enough in our descriptions and information that The Overlord (master of rules, storyteller, etc) can easily modify the adventures to fit their needs and the needs of their Party.

For this particular module, Tabletop Totality had Halloween in mind and so we wished to create adventures that could easily be plugged into any Dark Fantasy/Horror campaign but with effort taken to remain user friendly and appeal to a more diverse background. Contained within these pages are various villains and terrible monsters of our own creation. There are handcrafted spells, powerful weapons, magic items, traps, maps and more! We hope the tales within will spark your enthusiasm for gothic horror and suspense, vengeful ghosts and terrifying witches!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
