Just enough to give you a taste of the game, and lure you in. Actually, it's quite a lot of content for the price. I have purchased this as a gift for friends I thought might be interested. It's $2 well spent.

As another reviewer mentioned, it doesn't provide the magic or spells, but for 0 level characters, that's not a terrible issue.

If you're a player in a SOTDL game, this is a no-brainer, as it gives you the chapters on Character Creation (#1), the full rules (#2) and Equipment (#3). It's not much money for a lot of content. I've knocked off 1 star because the exclusion of the chapters on paths and magic make this not quite a one-stop shop for players. For a few dollars more, this would have been worth including (in my opinion).

Everything you need to create characters and play Call of Cthulhu level adventures in the world of the Demon Lord. It comes with the chapter for level 0 PCs, the rules chapter, and the equipment chapter. Plug in an adventure, like Survival of the Fittest and you are good to go.
