This was SO FUN! My DM ran it as a one on two and we had a great time. It would be perfect for a dark and stormy night. Definelty worth the price, and I cant wait for the next Summerhaven installment.

For your next dark and stormy night… “Knife to Know You” is everything you are looking for in a 5e horror adventure and more. There can never be enough horror adventures, especially ones that could be run as one shots for Halloween or any other time to get spooky!

This particular adventure is great on its own or if you are thinking of building a whole horror setting in Summerhaven. The adventure is in the slasher horror genre, but written n a way that DMs can dial up or down the gore to their tastes.

“Knife to Know You” may hook you with nostalgia for Christopher Pike’s pulp horror, but the adventure is way more than teen slasher horror. This adventure has several adventure outcomes that are driven by player decisions, so choices definitely matter!

Depending on DM and player preferences, the tone in this game could be ”Are You Afraid of the Dark” to “Cabin in the Woods.” If you love horror, you definitely want to have this in pocket to pull out for a dark, stormy night of fun.

As a fan of Slasher Horror and the 80s, Summerhaven: Knife to Know You already captivated me from the start. The teen-flick pulp horror aesthetic is really spot on without being too on the nose. The story itself is a nice introduction to the supposedly larger "universe" of Summerhaven, which is totally nice. The slasher villain feels grounded and interesting, which gives a different vibe from all those silent types slasher villains e.g. Leatherface, Michael, Jason. The art in this really fits the whole layout and aesthetic of the product, which is great. The extra rules/mechanics such as Ten Fingers, choices between Standard or Pulp, and the addition of sidekick really gives this whole different vibe from your typical 5e adventures.

I really recommend Knife to Know You, for those who are fan of Slasher Horror (or horror in general), or those who are looking for something different. I give it a 5 out of 5!
